About The Host
As a youngster living in south Florida, Keith developed a passion for the outdoors, spending as much time possible hunting and fishing.
Keith's father Earl Davis was in stock car racing as a driver then later a car builder and owner. It was natural that Keith became a stock car driver also.
Keith started racing stock cars at the early age of seventeen at Hialeah Speedway in south Florida. In 1972 following in the footsteps of family friends, Red Farmer ,Bobby and Donnie Allison, Keith moved to Alabama to further his racing career in NASCAR's lower divisions. Under his father’s guidance and watchful eye, he became a consistent winner.
Keith moved up the ranks until he reached the super speedways, racing in USAC, ARCA and in those days NASCAR's elite Winton Cup Series. Where he raced against NASCAR's best drivers at tracks like Talladega and Atlanta Super Speedways.
After three years racing on the super speedways, his promising career was cut short by injuries.
No longer able to race, Keith dove head first back into hunting and fishing. Keith founded Huntin' Buddy Accessories with his wife Deb. He then found a passion for filming hunts and began Gone Huntin' Outdoor Television with Tony Nafe.
Almost two decades later with many safaris to Africa and other international destinations Keith is the host of Gone Huntin' with Keith Davis television show.
